CRAIG AND MEREDITH BASS
Since his college days at the University of Richmond, Craig Bass spent his summers working as a carpenter, acquiring the skills necessary to begin a career in homebuilding. After graduation, his interest in skiing took him to Aspen, CO where he was fortunate to land a job as a Project Manager for a local firm and meeting Meredith. In just a few short years he found himself building custom, multi-million-dollar homes. "My experience building in Aspen was incredible. The complexities and level of detail required to build homes there is the foundation for my approach to building." From Aspen, Craig, Meredith and their 2 boys spent four years in his hometown of Westhampton Beach, NY where he built homes spanning The Hamptons. Since arriving in Atlanta in 2009, Craig and Meredith have built Avalon Custom Homes into the premier homebuilder, focusing mostly on Morningside, Buckhead, and other in-town neighborhoods. With Meredith managing the business, from the administrative side, Craig continues to enjoy building quality homes, providing best-in-class customer service and expanding his depth of experience with each and every project.
